The Oblates of the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will hold their next meeting on Sunday, April 15, from 1:00 p.m. Eastern time to 3:00 p.m. in St. Gertrude Hall at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana. Sister Betty Drewes and Oblate Jeanne Zack will give a presentation about “Conversion of Life.”
Anyone who is interested in Benedictine spirituality or who simply would like to become a more spiritual person is invited to attend and learn more about the Oblates.
Oblates are Christian women and men from all walks of life who associate themselves with a specific Benedictine monastery, such as the monastery in Ferdinand. The spirituality of St. Benedict can be adapted to the life of anyone seeking to live the Gospel message. The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand guide and support Oblates by providing regular Oblate meetings, a quarterly newsletter, and through enrichment opportunities.
