Monastery Gift Shop celebrates 20th anniversary
Monastery Gift Shop has been celebrating its 20th anniversary throughout the month of October with 20 Days of Giveaways. Each day, customers have been offered special deals to mark this milestone anniversary. The 20th anniversary celebration will culminate on Saturday, October 22, with on-site events.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., sisters will be demonstrating their crafts in Monastery Event Hall, which is adjacent to Monastery Gift Shop. Sister Maura Beckman, Sister Gail Hamilton, Sister Madonna Helmer, Sister Corita Hoffman, Sister Mary Beth Maier, Sister Doris Market, and Sister Rose Wildeman will be giving the demonstrations.
Some items in the gift shop will be available for deeply discounted prices. In addition, visitors to the gift shop are encouraged to register to win one of the prizes that will be given away each hour. Samples of Monastery Baked Goods cookies, assorted dips, and other refreshments will be offered.
