Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will offer a program, “Praying with Icons,” from Friday, December 1, at 7 p.m. Eastern time to Sunday, December 3, at 9:45 a.m. on the grounds of Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.

Participants will explore the theology of icons and become familiar with different ways of praying with sacred images. She gives periodic retreats about her recently-published book, “Icons in the Western Church: Toward a More Sacramental Encounter.”
