The Oblates of the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will hold their next meeting on Sunday, October 15, from 1:00 p.m. ET to 3:00 p.m. in St. Gertrude Hall at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand.

Anyone who would like to become a more spiritual person is invited to attend and learn more about the Oblates.
Sister Brenda Engleman and Oblate Kathy Knust will share a presentation on Lectio Divina, which is a way of praying. Four Oblate Candidates will make their Oblation in the monastery church at 9:45 a.m. during Morning Prayer.
Oblates are Christian women and men from all walks of life who associate themselves with a specific Benedictine monastery, such as the monastery in Ferdinand. The spirituality of St. Benedict can be adapted to the life of anyone seeking to live the Gospel message. The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand guide and support Oblates by providing regular Oblate meetings, a quarterly newsletter, and by various enrichment opportunities.
