Universal Health Worker, Hourly

NIGHT SHIFT 32-40 hrs/week includes every other weekend

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist sisters with self-administration of medications as needed.
  • Assist sisters with keeping their individual bedrooms/bathrooms clean.
  • Assist sisters with bathing and personal care as needed.  Clean tub/shower after care.
  • Assist sisters with tasks related to dining and food preparation.
  • Assist sisters with keeping mobility devices—rollators, wheelchairs, walkers, motorized carts clean and safely functional.
  • Clean equipment in physical therapy room and assist with keeping equipment functional.  Notify Community Health staff when repairs are needed.
  • Clean bathroom adjoining Physical Therapy room weekly.
  • Assist sisters with personal laundry including bed linens/bed making as needed.
  • Check vital signs (Temperature, Blood Pressure, and Pulse) with training as needed.
  • Clean Community Health Office and bathroom (room 416) weekly.
  • Monitor Nurse Call System during time on duty.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs some clerical work on the medical records.
  • Use effective communication skills and be able to work with the elderly and those who are ill.
  • Able to measure and comprehend certain quantities.
  • Ability to lift some; 20-50 pounds occasionally; 10-20 pounds frequently.
  • Other duties as assigned that are within the scope of nurse aid practice.

Baker, Part-time Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Follow standardize recipes for food preparation.
2. Review recipe changes with Bakery Manager.
3. Check food for taste and texture.
4. Check stock for needs and report needs to Bakery Manager.
5. Put away stock.
6. Clean equipment, etc. according to posted cleaning schedules.
7. Follow established policies and procedures regarding sanitation.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Measure ingredients for recipes.

Digital Marketing and Design Specialist, Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications, develop and implement strategies that will grow annual revenue from various audiences. Manages and executes the marketing plan.
2. Administers company’s website(s), maintaining web design/publishing content, making sites easy to use and ensure functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure, debug pages and fix broken links or images.
3. Oversees and updates all sections of the main website as well as assisting with the Monastery Gift Shop website.
4. Serves as a lead to design and manage all digital marketing campaigns including fundraising, digital donor cultivation and stewardship.
5. Translate program goals into smart digital campaign plans and creative tactics leveraging email, web content, social media and paid advertising.
6. Writing compelling, heartfelt, and strategic email and search engine optimized web copy that represents our mission and is personalized to different audiences.
7. Draft acknowledgement email templates; manage donor electronic communications calendar, welcome series, and related communications.
8. Oversight of organizational profiles on sites and trust-agents like Guide Star, Network for Good and Charity Navigator.
9. Segment and pull donor and prospect lists from Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online.
10. Create events and registration forms through Luminate Online.
11. Coordinates distribution of electronic communications, working with Mission Advancement, Monastery Bakery and Monastery Gift Shop.
12. Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests.
13. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and website analytics, and access against goals (ROI and KPIs).
14. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
15. Work alongside the design and social media specialist to create content for all social media channels and website.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Attends workshops and additional training for digital marketing, website optimization, and social media usage; and possibly fundraising tactics.
2. Gain and maintain status of Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online super user.
3. Works with director of technology for website maintenance and security. Seeks out information about the Sisters and Clients’ activities and events for social media and web stories, working with design and social media specialist.
4. Keeping up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of similar websites.
5. Ability to use (or learn) design software for template projects such as business cards, prayers cards, newsletters for employees and/or Alumnae, volunteers, etc., for print production.
6. Attends major events and conducts regular correspondence to represent the Sisters of St. Benedict.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, as needed.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge: Requires knowledge of digital marketing, social media best practices, and website effectiveness. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and oral communication skills. Attention to detail, creativity, and strong analytical skills. Must work well within a team and have ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience: A formal 4-year degree from a college or university (B.S./B.A.), or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.

Skills and Traits Required:
1. Computer proficiency with Word Press and/or other web design software (CMS), as well as email communication software, Word and Excel.
a. InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator knowledge a plus.
2. Proficient with Luminate Online or a comparable large-scale CRM program.
3. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WYSWYG, and JavaScript development and constraints.
4. Understanding and practice of SEO.
5. Thorough knowledge of website design practices and basic coding.
6. Solid analytical skills required.

Our Mission Advancement office is looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to assist with clerical duties as needed to support the department and its mission of support for the Sisters of St. Benedict.

Essential responsibilities include: assisting with data entry of gifts, process and assist with the direct mail program, prepare and edit letters, correspondence, and reports weekly and assist with office functions as needed.

Knowledge requirements:Ability to type and use a computer, strong knowledge of Word and Excel, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with Blackbaud or similar CRM Database preferred.

Education and Experience: High school or GED equivalent required; Associates degree a plus. 1+ year of administrative experience required.
