Organic Living program April 27

Discover a variety of ways to live a more natural, simple, and holistic life at the “Organic Living” seminar being offered by the Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand.

The program will be held Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Eastern time at Kordes Center, on the monastery grounds, in Ferdinand, Indiana.

Learn about organic nutrition for you, your family, and pets, natural products to care for your home and garden, plus stress management and spiritual exploration. Find out what it means to “live green” and explore why living organically affects the environment. Organic recipes will also be shared with participants.

Sister Kate Willegal, an assistant professor of nursing at Vincennes University Jasper Campus and also a post-surgical nurse at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, will be the presenter. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education along with a Health Promotion and Worksite Wellness certificate.
