Have you ever felt like something is missing in your life? Would you like to become a more spiritual person? If so, Sister Brenda Engleman invites you to consider learning more about the Oblates of St. Benedict. Oblates are Christian women and men from all walks of life who associate themselves with a specific Benedictine monastery, like the monastery in Ferdinand, Indiana. This spirituality of St. Benedict can be adapted to the life of anyone seeking to live the Gospel message. The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand will guide and support you by providing regular Oblate meetings, a quarterly newsletter, and by other enrichment opportunities.

Our next meeting is Saturday, May 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (ET) in St. Gertrude Hall in the monastery. Our topic is “Mary, All Ways,” to be presented by Sister Betty Drewes, OSB. For more information, call Sister Brenda Engleman, OSB, at 812-367-1411, ext. 2827, or email her at bengleman@thedome.org.
