2008 Alumnae Reunion

Attention all Academy alumnae! Contact your classmates and other friends from the Academy and make plans to “meet on the hill” the last weekend in June. Classes that will observe special anniversaries are those whose graduation year ends in 8 or 3.

The cost for the Alumnae Reunion, in lieu of annual association dues, is $25. Payment may be made on Alumnae Day or when you preregister. This fee helps cover the cost of the meal, setup, and other expenses related to the reunion as well as general expenses for the Alumnae Association, such as the printing and mailing of Jottings.

Alums must preregister by June 13 to be included in the dinner count. This number is needed for ordering dinners and arranging space and setup in the dining area.

This year’s reunion offers a new event. The Alumnae Board decided to have a raffle featuring pieces of creative artwork made and contributed by alums. Alumnae and guests may purchase tickets for each item on Alumnae Day, and names will be drawn for the winners at the end of the alumnae meeting. The raffle will raise funds to help defray expenses incurred by the association.

Because of retreats and programs in Kordes Center that weekend, there will be no available rooms in Kordes. (See page 2 for a list of hotels and B&B facilities in the area.)
