2006 Alumnae Reunion
Over 130 Academy alums gathered for their reunion at the monastery this weekend. The reunion brought women from as far as Equador, Mexico, California, Arizona, New York, New Jersey, and many states in between. From 102-year-old Sister Carla Mitchell, class of 1921, to 22-year-old Katie Devitt, class of 2002, the "girls" enjoyed reminiscing about their days in the Academy and catching up on news of classmates and friends.

| These three alums go back a long way and were the three oldest at the reunion. Sister Carla (Esther) Mitchell, on the right, graduated from the Academy 85 years ago, in 1921. Sister Mary Adolph (Marian) Egloff is in the anniversary class of 1926, and Sister Mary Regis (Mary) Krampe in the class of 1933. |

Alumnae Association president Kathleen (Bohm) Boink '58 welcomes alums at the reunion dinner. |
 |
Alums Sister Helen Maurer '39 at piano and Sister Mary Louise (Gloria) Uebelhor '60 on keyboard, along with Sister Kimberly Ann Mandelkow, provided a bit of dinner music. They played a sampling of music which the sisters will be recording for a new CD in July. The recording will feature instrumental music for reflective listening — original compositions by Sister Mary Louise and other sisters, as well as familiar hymns and classical pieces. The CD will be ready in time for Christmas giving.

| The names of alumnae who died in the past year were read aloud as Ann (Schroeder) Buechler '71 placed roses in a bouquet in remembrance of them. |
