Part-time Night Security

We have a part time position available in the Maintenance Department for a Night Security person. Hours are from
9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., two to three nights per week. Some weekends required. Responsibilities for the position include:

• Locking and unlocking all buildings as directed
• Clearing buildings of persons if necessary
• Turn off lights that are not needed
• Close windows in all buildings as directed
• Patrol campus for suspicious or unusual happenings
• Check for fire hazards and check fire extinguishers
• Report major disturbances to 911 and Police Dept
• Check power house and machinery areas
• Power house boilers are to be blown down according to recommendations
• Chillers are to be checked and possibly purged
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and lights
• Assist in snow removal
• Perform General Maintenance functions as requested
