In the sisters’ spirit of recycling items, the raffle car is a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu that was previously driven by the sisters and has been mostly restored.  Thanks to the generosity of donors, including Hagedorn Body Shop and Harker Automotive NAPA in Ferdinand, Raben Tire in Evansville, Uebelhor and Sons Chevrolet & Toyota in Jasper and Uebelhor Development in Huntingburg, the car has many new features.  It has new tires, brakes, battery, and exhaust.  The air conditioner has been recharged and new filters, oil and coolant have been added.  The car has been newly painted and there are also new floor mats.  One year of free oil changes is part of the prize package.  The car will also have a full tank of gas as it drives off the monastery grounds.
