Sisters of St. Benedict Announce Christmas Schedule

The Sisters of St. Benedict invite everyone to join them for their Christmas celebrations.
Christmas Eve services at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand will be held Saturday, December 24, at 10 p.m. Carol service precedes the mass, beginning at 9:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the monastery dining room immediately after mass.
Christmas morning mass on December 25 will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the monastery church.
The Christmas lights display adorning “Grotto Hill” on the monastery grounds are currently lit at night and will continue to be through January 6, 2012.
Guided tours of Monastery Immaculate Conception are regularly given Tuesday through Friday at 10 and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, and 3 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 1, 2, and 3 p.m. Guided tours will not be given from December 24 through January 2.
For your Christmas shopping needs, the Sisters of St. Benedict’s “For Heaven's Sake” gift shop store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sundays from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The gift shop will be closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1. For Heaven’s Sake is also online at forheavensake.org. Simply Divine bakery items, including the German Christmas traditional Springerles, are also available at the gift shop and online.
