During this retreat, we will reflect on issues of our faith. We live in extraordinary times.
On the one hand, we experience unprecedented darkness, confusion, and violence; on
the other hand, creativity and insights abound and are proclaimed everywhere. There
is a transformation of consciousness emerging among us and calling us to conversion.
We will explore what this means for us as shepherds of God’s goodness and mercy.
Seeing with new eyes in a manner meaningful and life-giving for the 21st century does
not happen from the outside-in but speaks of inwardness, to a conversion of the heart. It
flows in us and through us. It is fire in our midst – the Spirit of God deep within, inviting
us into a new vision that will transform and reenergize us.
Sister Barbara Fiand is a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. She gives retreats,
workshops, and courses throughout the country and abroad on issues related to
holistic spirituality, prayer, religious life, transformation of consciousness, and quantum
spirituality. She is the author of eight books and numerous articles as well as recorded
lectures. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Directed Retreat provides you with an opportunity to focus on your relationship with
God, especially your experience of God in prayer and in life’s events. You will have the
opportunity to meet daily with a spiritual director.
A team of spiritual directors will facilitate this silent retreat.
Cost: $550
