Invitation

The Ferdinand Benedictine community extends to the Oblate the invitation to:

  • unite one's daily prayer to that of the community
  • share with the community in the celebration of Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours
  • strive to know and appreciate the community and what the community is doing
  • participate in the works the community undertakes insofar as one wishes and is able
  • attend days of prayer and other enrichment opportunities with the community
  • devote oneself to the service of God through works of charity and justice in one's own locality
  • encourage and support those called to the Benedictine way of life
  • be an extension of the community's spirit in areas where the community cannot be present
