Invitation
The Ferdinand Benedictine community extends to the Oblate the invitation to:
- unite one's daily prayer to that of the community
- share with the community in the celebration of Eucharist and the Liturgy of the Hours
- strive to know and appreciate the community and what the community is doing
- participate in the works the community undertakes insofar as one wishes and is able
- attend days of prayer and other enrichment opportunities with the community
- devote oneself to the service of God through works of charity and justice in one's own locality
- encourage and support those called to the Benedictine way of life
- be an extension of the community's spirit in areas where the community cannot be present
