"From my Beachfront Condo to the Monastery"

Prayer is at the heart of all that we are as Benedictines and all that we do. St. Benedict, in the Prologue to the Rule, says:

Our Sisters have agreed to serve as Prayer Partners for the women who are in contact with our community as part of what we call the Inquiry Stage. The Sister Prayer Partner agrees to pray for the woman at least once a week during a one-year period. She may write occasionally to share something about her life and how she was called to religious life. The woman, in turn, is encouraged to pray for the Sister whose name she received and to share something about her own background and interests through written correspondence.
