After double bogeys — cancellations of two previously scheduled meetings because the weather wasn't up to par — the golf committee finally teed off its planning for the 2008 Dome Classic Golf Scramble. This sixth annual golf scramble, a fun and fund raising event for the Sisters of St. Benedict, will be held at the classic, recently restored Donald Ross Course at French Lick, Indiana, on September 8. For those of you who like to putt around, get a team together and make plans to be a part of the fun and excitement of the 2008 Dome Classic Golf Scramble. A mega raffle and a banquet on September 7 are also part of the plans. More information will be coming. If you can’t wait, call 812-367-1411, ext. 2631. Take a cue from the coming of spring when you'll soon be seeing greens and getting birdies.
