2009 Alumnae Reunion
June 27-28, 2009 Let’s make “the hill” rock this weekend! Last year we had a record number of alumnae and their guests for the reunion. Let’s break the record again this year. In this day of instant and worldwide communication, including social networking on the Internet, there’s little reason why we can’t get in touch with classmates and other Academy friends and make plans to gather on “the hill” the last weekend in June. Classes observing special anniversaries this year are those whose graduation year ends in 9 or 4. The Alumnae Reunion schedule is as follows: Saturday, June 27
Sunday, June 28
The cost for the Alumnae Reunion, in lieu of annual association dues, is $25. This fee helps cover the cost of the meal, set up, and other expenses related to the reunion, as well as general expenses for the Alumnae Association, such as mailings. Payment may be made on Alumnae Day or when you preregister. If you plan to be present for the meal on Alumnae Day, you must preregister by June 15 to be included in the dinner count given to the caterers. We also need that registration count in order to arrange and set up the dining/meeting area. Like last year, the alumnae board will have a raffle on Alumnae Day. You may take chances on pieces of creative artwork made and contributed by alums. Names will be drawn for the winners at the end of the alumnae meeting. The raffle will help defray expenses incurred by the association. If you’re coming from a distance and need accommodations, see page 3 for a list of motels and B&B facilities in the area. We’re sorry that all available rooms at Kordes Center and in the monastery guest areas have already been reserved. We hope to see you in June!
